Growing up, I was always a thin kid. It wasn’t until I hit my late-twenties when I realised that I wasn’t able to put off the weight that I put on. Determined to be slim, I did what most health experts recommend to do – eat less and move more. I took that up with a fervour, half starving myself with soups and salads and running 5-6 Kilometres every alternate day. The result after doing this for a year was a paltry 2 kg weight loss and endless depression. That’s when I came across the Ketogenic Diet. At first, the idea seemed insane – eat fat to be slim?Â
But I gave it a shot and at the end of three months, I had lost 15 Kgs and I felt more energetic, alert and alive than I had felt in years – all this without exercising a single day. It’s been over 6 years now that I’ve been living this lifestyle and I’ve loved every minute of it.
Now I have made it my mission to have this lifestyle available to others by educating myself and starting various ventures that make keto easy that is how I started Keto Diet India. No one must have to live a life of obesity due to bad science and outdated advice.
